Being an EMT in Arizona requires that you take and pass an approved training course along with submitting the proper certification documents AND passing the National Registry (NREMT) Exam. According to the information provided Arizona accepts EMT, AEM, I-99 and Paramedic level candidates who have NREMT Certification. To be NREMT Certified, a candidate must pass the National Registry Exam for that level.
