EMT & Fire Training Inc. offers EMT and firefighter training courses online to accommodate the busy schedules of today's emergency medical professionals. Currently we offer EMT Basic Training courses which can be attended on any computer with a highspeed internet connection. All courses conclude with a period of in person training. The NREMT EMT Basic training course and NREMT EMT Intermediate 85 course that we currently offer concludes with 5 days of intensive, in person, hands on instruction and assessment culmanatiing in NREMT EMT or AEMT Certification if the candidate is successful in passing the examinations. The 5 day hands on portion of this course is held at our facilities at Priest Lake, Idaho Firefighter I and II training courses will be available in 2013. Please keep checking back.
NREMT EMT Training Course Online Quick Facts EMT Class lectures and interactive lessons are recorded. • Students must have a highspeed internet connection for completing lessons and watching lectures. • Students who are not passing (80%) at the EMT course midterm will be removed from the course. Hands on practical skills instruction and assessment will be held IN PERSON for 5 DAYS at the end of each course. This week of instruction and NREMT practical assessment will be held at our facilities and is mandatory for course completion. A calendar of training weeks and open courses is available here. • Courses are filled on a first come first serve basis. • Successful completion of our EMT course will allow you to test for NREMT Certification. • Applicants must pass criminal history background check. • Applicants must pass a 5 drug screening process prior to patient contact or access to our facilities. • Cost of EMT B course is $3495. Price includes Textbook, Workbook, All meals and Lakeside accommodations for practical skills week. We even provide tranportation to and from the airport. You just have to get here.
