The state of Montana requires that all EMT and Paramedics be Nationally Certified by the NREMT before they can be licensed. You must pass an approved EMT class and then pass both the computer based NREMT exam as well as the hands on practical examination. The computer based exam consists of anywhere from seventy questions to one hundred and fifty questions. The EMT exam is different for every student that takes it because it is adaptive and changes after every question.
A great way to prepare for the NREMT exam is to use our EMT practice tests that can be generated online from a pool of over 2,300 EMT and paramedic questions in the same multiple choice format as the National Registry Exam. Accessible 24 hours a day, this EMT test prep resource is the best on the market. A Paramedic and EMT support staff will guarantee that you get any extra help you may need. Ask licensed professionals any pre-hospital medical or protocol question you have and get a response right away.
Finding information on licensure certification on both the Montana government site as well as the Board of Medical Examiners is very difficult so we have searched out and found the links to the most important information for you. The Montana EMT Practical Examination Manual is 97 pages of information that you need to study and know for your practical exam.
Montana has a link to the EMT National Registry Application as well should you need a copy
